Wisconsin DNR Urban and Community Forestry
The starting point – features publications (ex. Guide for Developing Urban Forestry Strategic Plans and Urban Forestry Management Plans); newsletters; urban forestry consultant lists; grant information; Wisconsin Champion Trees.

Midwest Center for Urban and Community Forestry
Identifies, facilitates and supports new and existing research needs, and coordinates exchange of information. Funded projects include: book on a community forest targeted at 6-9 year olds; poster on insects and diseases arranged by seasonal occurrence and identifying characteristics; Stop Tree Topping Media Kit, and Urban Tree Risk Manual.
